GetUp Montgomery County is a multi-year, county-wide initiative to encourage healthy lifestyles for children and families, and thereby ultimately reducing childhood obesity and increasing the number of physically active children in our community. Our goal is to promote healthy lifestyles, mobilize community action through partnerships and spread the 5-2-1-Almost None message to children and families in Montgomery County.

We encourage you to check out the myriad of resources throughout this website. In addition, the following links should be particularly useful. Please let us know how we can help you tell the GetUp and 5-2-1-Almost None story! We are happy to help facilitate interviews with Public Health officials and/or GetUp partners.
