Partners

You probably know the old African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Likewise, we recognize that it will truly take a community to change the health of our children. Every one of us plays a part.

GetUp Montgomery County is an initiative of Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County (PHDMC) but it is more than any one entity. Local partners are truly dedicated to helping promote healthier lifestyles for children and families in our community. They are also working together to evaluate our environment and determine what barriers may exist to becoming a healthier Montgomery County. With their voice, and the voices of parents and caregivers, we will GetUp together to remove those barriers.

Join GetUp

Your organization is welcome and encouraged to become an official GetUp partner. There is no financial obligation to be a GetUp partner (though we certainly do love partners who can share!). Your level of participation is designated by a 3 Star Partner program. Green Star Partners are message advocates. Blue Star Partners offer program delivery components and Gold Star Partners are role models for culture change.
