Health Risk Assessment

Body Mass Index, or BMI, is a numerical value of an individual's weight in relation to their height. BMI can be used as an indicator of a healthy or unhealthy weight. BMI for Kids

The BMI of children is calculated in a different way than it is for adults. It is important to understand their BMI, along with waist circumference, as a percentile of the average for their age group. This is because children are always growing. We need to be aware of how much growth is good growth, and how much is just too much.
