There are many simple ways to improve health and fitness. It's best to take small steps instead of attempting major change all at once.  GetUp now has two great Challenges for you to start on your path to improved wellness!  Click on the Healthy City Challenge tab or Get Fit Kids Summer Challenge tab on the left sidebar for all the details!

Once you commit to better health, you'll find that living the 5-2-1-Almost None lifestyle is easy to incorporate in your daily schedule. And remember, you aren't alone in your journey. People all around our community are coming together to determine what may stand in the way and what we can do together to live the 5-2-1-Almost None lifestyle!

By taking these four easy steps, we can lead healthier lifestyles and become a healthier community.

Be a role model and be sure to have your child …

  • Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day

  • Spend less than 2 hours of leisure screen time each day on TV, video and/or computer games

  • Get at least 1 hour of active play each day

  • Drink Almost None of those sugary soda or juice-flavored drinks
